2006 Napa Valley Bootleg Cabernet Sauvignon
Vintage and Winemaker's Notes:
The appearance is opaque dark red with ruby hues. The 2006 Bootleg Cabernet Sauvignon shows aromas of dark cherry, blackberry syrup, cassis, cinnamon, clove and aromatic cedar with a hint of eucalyptus. The oak is well integrated. Powerful, yet elegantly balanced, the flavors of dark cherry and black currant dance with a fleshy mid-palate, over a bed of resolved tannins. This wine is full-flavored from start to finish, with an incredible depth of flavor and a long lingering fruitfulness finish dusted with cocoa.
