The Freemark Abbey Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon wine is opaque with dark ruby color. The aromatics conjure up notions of dark chocolate, black cherry, fresh cedar, and graphite. The palate is rich and complexly layered with flavors of espresso, plum pie, blackberry and forest floor. The tannins are reminiscent of Rutherford dust; structured, dusty and well integrated, making this wine lovely now with the ability to cellar well for decades.

Dark ruby color, the Freemark Abbey Napa Valley Merlot wine expresses rich dark fruit of blackberry, dark cherry, with a spice complexity of black pepper, sage and earth. The integrated oak component expresses cinnamon, clove and aromatic cedar. The entry and finish on the palate are very smooth, with integrated fruit resembling black cherry. This wine has a good overall balance of fruit, body, resolved tannin and balanced acidity. The depth of fruit coupled with the richness of flavor provides a profile that delivers from the initial sip, and continues on the palate for a very long finish.

The flavor is punctuated with ripe white peach and green apple. With richness of acidity and fruit, the Viognier is very pleasant with great viscosity and balance.

Napa Valley Chardonnay is a rich, nuanced and complex wine. The nose opens with aromas of apple cobbler, creme brulee, ripe pineapple, orange marmalade, and fresh peach. The palate is supple, balanced and integrated and exhibits flavors of stone fruit, candied lemon zest, baking spices, ambrosia and vanilla. It is at once vibrant and balanced while being creamy with a long, lingering finish.
