Very dark in color, this wine is opaque dark ruby with reddish hues. The aroma is black currant, dried cherry, plum, blackberry syrup, vanilla and dark chocolate. Adding to the depth and richness, the oak is well integrated, adding sweet oak spice components with clove, cinnamon, and aromatic cedar. There is a subtle aroma of bay leaves or eucalyptus nuance in the background. The wine opens in the glass to sweet black cherry flavors that linger through a full mid pallet experience. The tannins are well resolved, mature, velvety smooth leaving the wine with a long, lingering fruit finish. Rich, round and seductive!
