2005 Napa Valley Sycamore Cabernet Sauvignon
Vintage and Winemaker's Notes:
Intense black currant with a spicy blueberry compote, cinnamon, aromatic cedar, black pepper and clove. Dark chocolate permeates the aroma with a hint of Moroccan olives. Good depth of flavor with dark cherry, chocolate and integrated oak spice. Full-flavored with a very long, clean and fruitful finish with modest tannins.

- Varietal Composition: 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7.2% Merlot, 5.8 % Cab Franc
- Aging: 24 plus months in French oak barrels, predominantly Nievre, 65% new
- Vineyard Details: 5-8 years in gravelly clay loam; vineyard is irrigated only 1 to 3 times annually.
- Alcohol: 14.3%
