Light greenish straw in color, our Napa Valley Chardonnay expresses fruit aromas of pear, apple, white peach, ripe banana, kiwi and lemon-lime. Oak aging adds to the complexity by adding spice flavors like nutmeg and toasty aromatic cedar. This Napa Valley Chardonnay has great viscosity, depth and an intriguing long finish evocative of angel food cake and marshmallow. Pear, citrus, green apple and peach flavors are lively on the palate. This Napa Valley Chardonnay shows great complexity, creaminess and elegance and pairs well with many foods.

The winter was one of the driest on record for the Napa Valley. When we did get rain however, it came right at the time the vines need it the most, promoting bud break and new shoot growth. The balance of the season was moderate to warm. The crop was abundant and the fruit ripened about two weeks early in most cases. We were thankful for a wonderful harvest yielding great wines with immense depth of flavor.
