Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is opaque dark ruby in color with rich aromas and flavors of black currant, boysenberry and a blueberry. The aromas are coupled with spices of black peppercorns, aromatic cedar, cigar box, dried tobacco, pine forest, dark olive, and brambly forest floor. The flavors are reminiscent of dark cherry, with a firm crispness for balance and length. The tannins are round and well resolved, giving a wonderfully pleasant structure. This Cabernet Sauvignon is a great example of a mountain Cabernet, with the rich extraction of abundant flavors providing a wine of great depth and pleasure.

94 POINTS

"Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Spring Mountain (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) is scented of crushed black currants and blackberries with touches of licorice, cigar box and fragrant earth. Medium to full-bodied, it has lovely fine-grained tannins and a refreshing backbone supporting the vibrant, youthful fruit, finishing long with a minty lift."
