Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep ruby with inviting aromas of black raspberry, mint, fresh cedar and plum. A well-integrated wine featuring raspberry, dried cranberry, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove flavors. The tannins are soft with a long-lasting dark chocolate and vanilla finish. Looking back, 1999 was a longer and cooler growing season than average, giving a great slow and steady ripening pattern. Red wines across the board showed good structure and particularly intense color; cabernets should age especially well.
