Description
Spring Mountain AVA (100%): These mountaintop vineyards, in the Spring Mountain appellation, produce dark fruit with tons of depth, extraction and structure. The mountaintop soils are sedimentary, shallow, generally well-drained, uniquely mineral rich, and acidic with low fertility. With a cool climate in general, these mountaintop vineyards are typically above the fog line. With warmer nights and cooler days than the valley floor, this terroir develops small vines with low yields, small berries and very flavorful wines.
