This Bootleg Cabernet Sauvignon expresses aromas of black currant, blackberry, and cassis. Spicy oak develops the complexity of dark fruit by adding aromatic cedar, cinnamon, clove and dark chocolate notes. The palette is big, juicy and jammy with black currant, plum, dark cherry. Very full in the mouth with lots of depth and a long rich finish.

Production Notes
This growing season was ideal and near perfect. With textbook conditions for spring bud break, the vines continued steady growth over the spring, flowering and fruit set. Classic weather promoted an even set of fruit that was abundant but not over cropped. The long summer days brought a normal veraison, initiating the long ripening period that achieved our goals before the fall rains. Harvest was a winemaker’s dream.
