Partners Blend Red Wine

This wine was created as a tribute to the seven partners, who in 1967 brought Freemark Abbey back to life and put it on the path to where we are today. Fashioned after a 'Right Bank blend' with a focus on Cabernet Franc and Merlot, this wine exhibits lovely aromas of blueberry compote, carob, baking spice and vanilla. The palate is bright and lively with flavors of plum pie, espresso, clove, and anise. The texture is round and supple with lovely, well integrated tannins.
Primary Vineyard: Sycamore Vineyard — Rutherford (100%): Small 24-acre vineyard located about 1.2 miles south of Bosché, right up against the Mayacamas Range, this vineyard has a rich clay loam. Sycamore Vineyard produces small berries reminiscent of mountain fruit berries, with intense extracts of color and flavor
