EOur Mount Veeder vineyard sits at 1800 feet elevation and contributes all the wonderful elements of mountain grown Cabernet to this wine.  The color is dark and brooding and it exhibits aromas of cigar box, clove, truffle, black pepper, graphite, blueberry and black forest fruits.  The plate is rich with flavors of ripe plums, dark cherry compote, espresso, mocha, and complex oak spices.  The entry is creamy, and round and the tannins are broad and powerful yet well integrated.  This wine is complex and refined and drinks wonderfully now or will cellar well for decades.
