For many people around the country who are members of California winery clubs, the wines they receive may be good or even excellent, but connections to the places they come from are vicarious, at best, and bottle shipments are as close as they will get to wine country.
At Freemark Abbey, the wine club approach is somewhat different. Between the two clubs, Partners’ Cellar and Josephine’s Cellar, there are numerous opportunities each year to experience Freemark hospitality first-hand.
On four special occasions—two each in the spring and fall—the winery celebrates new wine releases and the harvest itself with much-anticipated parties that show visitors what an extraordinary property Freemark Abbey really is. Invitations are sent well in advance to Partners’ and Josephine’s club members who, naturally, receive VIP treatment upon arrival.
Such consideration extends to other members-only activities during the year, along with preferred pricing for all winery activities. It’s Freemark’s way of saying thank you to members who recognize how special its Napa Valley wines are.
