For over 40 years, Freemark Abbey has held exclusive sourcing rights to the grapes from the prestigious Sycamore Vineyard. Located on the Rutherford Bench next to the Mayacamas Mountains this storied site produces fruit that is intense, concentrated and complex which are perfect characteristics of age worthy Cabernet Sauvignon. Since 1980, we have proudly produced this wine as a signature new release each year and reserved a portion of each vintage for our historic library.
The Decades Dinner is a magical celebration exclusively for our members and their guests. The evening begins with a white wine and passed appetizers, followed by a seated dinner featuring four decades of our Sycamore Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon (1995, 2006, 2016, 2022) and one surprise vintage wine, each paired with an exquisitely crafted course. Guided by Winemaker Kristy Melton, this unforgettable evening will take you on a sensory journey through the legacy of an iconic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
