The Best Winery Events

Freemark Abbey’s annual Estate Events revolve seasonally around the release days for three of the winery’s most prized red wines, while the fourth event celebrates the harvest. Each event—two in the spring and two in fall—has its own flavor, but our staff’s dedication to hospitality and enthusiasm for the wines showcased at each event ensure great experiences across the board for club members and winery guests. These are, without a doubt, some of the best winery events in St. Helena.

Kapalua Wine and Food Festival | July 10-13

The 44th annual Kapalua Wine & Food Festival will be a celebration for the ages! As the oldest and most beloved food and wine festival in the U.S., the Kapalua Wine & Food Festival brings together the world’s top vintners, renowned celebrity chefs Maneet Chauhan and Rick Moonen, as well as Maui and Hawaii’s favorite restaurants and local vendors to create magic once again at Kapalua Resort.

Tour de vine trail Napa Valley | July 26

This summer, The Napa Valley Vine Trail Coalition invites you to savor the experience of Napa Valley's finest hospitality while exploring the region's breathtaking landscapes at terroir level—along the scenic Napa Valley Vine Trail, a car-free path for pedestrians and cyclists connecting Saint Helena to Calistoga.

Freemark Abbey will join our neighboring wineries along the Vine Trail, alongside local hotels and restaurants along the route, to create an unforgettable passport weekend surrounded by our vineyards.

Fall in love with Napa Valley all over again while you enjoy exceptional wine and culinary tasting experiences powered by your own feet. Whether you walk, bike, or drive, enjoy special access to winery events the weekend of July 26th & 27th.

Summer Celebration | August 23

Come celebrate the Summer with the ultimate dance party at Freemark Abbey, featuring The Ariel Marin Band, tasty culinary treats, live art demonstrations, and Freemark Abbey wine flowing. 

The celebration will be outdoors in the courtyard from 1-4 PM so plan for sunshine. This is a 21+ event; Please no children or pets outside of service dogs.
